DAVID ASCH is a freelance author, journalist and digital artist. He specializes in photomontage and image effects, using both Photoshop CS and Photoshop Elements. He is the author of Focus on Photoshop Elements (2011) and also co-author of Digital Photo Doctor (2006) and has work featured in Photoshop Elements: Drop Dead Photography Effects (2005). He has also written numerous articles for UK based photography and computer magazines. As well as published work, he also regularly contributes to TipSquirrel.com, a popular Photoshop tutorial website.

STEVE CAPLIN is a graphic artist, author and journalist specialising in photomontage illustration. His work appears regularly in British newspapers and magazines. He is the author of the best-selling series forerunner How to Cheat in Photoshop (now in its fifth edition), Art & Design in Photoshop (2008), and 100% Photoshop (2010). His first book, Icon Design, was published in 2001; he also co-wrote The Complete Guide to Digital Illustration (2003), as well as Max Pixel's Adventures in Adobe Photoshop Elements 3 (2005).
