David Asch is a freelance author, journalist and digital artist specializing in photomontage and image effects using both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. He is the co-author of Digital Photo Doctor (2006) and has work featured in Photoshop Elements: Drop Dead Photography Effects (2005). He has also written numerous articles for UK based photography and computer magazines.

Steve Caplin is a graphic artist, author and journalist specialising in photomontage illustration. He is the author of the best-selling series forerunner How to Cheat in Photoshop and his work appears regularly in British newspapers and magazines.His first book, Icon Design, was published in 2001; he also co-wrote The Complete Guide to Digital Illustration (2003), as well as Max Pixel's Adventures in Adobe Photoshop Elements 3 (2005). His non-computing titles are Dad Stuff and its US edition, Be the Coolest Dad on the Block (2005) and Stuff the Turkey, (2006).
